About me

Hello. My name is Ali.

I am 24 at the time of this writing, I have one kitten, one girlfriend, one job, and one very small apartment. My education is in International Relations; I hold a BA from Mary Baldwin College in this and am completing my dissertation for a MA with Deakin University.

I am an atheist, a feminist, bisexual, a bit of an existentialist, a scientist, a humanist, and on the autism spectrum. I self-diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome two years ago and am in the process of receiving “official confirmation.” I am a writer, an artist, and a sometimes-photographer (not a very good one).

My career goals have tilted and veered wildly in the past year, from the Foreign Service to hopes of med school. Right this moment I would like to be a pediatric neurologist, but I am more than open to the idea that I will change my mind; there is little about the workings of the body that I do not find fascinating, and I have a feeling narrowing will be the difficulty here.

Please stick around and take a look.
